Apple iWatch : It's Real

Apparently the rumours about the upcoming Apple iWatch were true and it will be seeing a 2013 launch. Apple seems to want a slice of the smartwatch segment, maybe they'll sue if someone else makes a smartwatch that looks "similar". The product should run on a version of iOS similar to the 6th gen. iPod Nano (funny, I use that as a watch right now) which allows Apple to control what content the device gets. Unlike conventional watches, which use very little power and can be recharged by kinetic energy or light, smart watches will draw a significantly larger amount of power due to it being a self-contained embedded computing device. The new smartwatches should incorporate something that should make it easy to charge the watch, possibly even wireless charging.
