Saints Row IV Set for August 20 Release

After parent company Koch Media acquired Volition Inc., publisher Deep Silver announced that they will be  launching the latest game in the Saints Row franchise on August 20 in North America and on August 23 for the rest of the world.
According to the press release, the leader of the Saints has gotten themselves elected to the position of President of the United States, amazing right? But, with the Saints, nothing ever goes right. Earth is being invaded by aliens, and the Saints have been transported off to a simulation of Steelport, where all the action takes place in Saints Row: The Third. It's up to the Saints to escape the grasp of alien granddaddy Zinyak, or die trying.

With an alien invasion comes lots of guns, alien guns. Each Saint has access to an arsenal of alien weaponry and technology, turning each of them into a symbol of mass destruction. Wield these superpowers to jump over buildings, outrun the fastest sport cars, or send enemies flying with telekinesis in the most outrageous Saints Row installment yet.
