Catch Notes Shutting Down

Catch notes, a note taking app that allows you to share your notes with friends, has made the difficult decision to terminate their service after 30 August 2013. It may not have been as popular as Evernote, but loyal users will still be quite upset to know that they will have to find another service. An announcement on the company's website led to sadness as their users learned they will no longer be able to use the Catch notes app for iOS and Android, as well as the website and its browser extensions. However, the company is not shutting down completely as they stated that they want to "take the company in a different direction", so we mightbe able to expect some new service in a few years. Users who have notes on the service can easily export their notes in a CSV or ZIP file and then import it into another service such as Evernote or Onenote.
