Evernote Hacked - User Data Exposed

Evernote has been recently hacked resulting in user information such as usernames, email addresses, and encrypted passwords being exposed. The good news is that Evernote encrypted everything by hashing and salting, but as a precaution, they have issued a service-wide password reset. After logging in, you will be able to change your password. It's recommended that you avoid using simple, overused, or obvious passwords. Another precaution is to avoid using the same password you use on other services such as your email or video game service. Given that many other services such as Facebook and Twitter have been hacked, it appears to be a growing trend, and keeping secure passwords is one way to protect yourself.
