Union Station Flooding

If you live in Toronto, you may already know that the TTC's Union Station has been flooded. It was caused by a damaged watermain during the Union Station revitalization project. EllisDon, the construction company in charge of the project. One of their crews hit a watermain and caused a mix of water and sewage flooding into Union station and into RBC Plaza.

The interesting thing is how quickly social networking reacted. Once this occurred this morning, the internet flooded with videos and pictures. Nowadays, even the big news corporations like the Toronto Star or CP24 use viewer-content. Everyone has a smartphone that can take video and many can take HD content but please HOLD YOUR PHONE HORIZONTALLY!!!! so that the video is not just a vertical strip like this one.
