2012 Gaming Year in Review : Need for Speed Most Wanted (October)

The makers of Burnout, Criterion, worked with EA to remake the classic Need for Speed: Most Wanted. They revamped the entire game and it feels a lot like Burnout. Almost all of the cars are unlocked at the beginning of the game with an exception of 10 that need to be unlocked by taking down the 10 most wanted cars. You drive around the city looking for races to get modifications for your car as well as speed points to unlock the next most wanted races. The game gets repetitive after a while because the races are the same and there is absolutely no story line at all. The graphics are fantastic as well as extremely well done engine sounds. If you played the previous most wanted, you may notice that this is a lot different because the cars are a lot easier to take down and the cops aren't the brightest people in the game. The game is available on PC via digital download off Origin, Playstation 3, PS Vita, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
