EA Closes BioWare San Francisco

EA has closed down BioWare San Francisco, laying off 25-30 employees. The studio, once known as EA2D, was renamed in August 2011, and was the developer of games such as Dragon Age Legends and Mirror's Edge 2D. EA supports their decision by saying that it was "too expensive" to develop games in Redwood Shores, California.

We wish the best of luck to those affected.
