Canada, Brace yourselves ... The Galaxy Mega is coming

You thought the Note II was big? The Galaxy Mega with its goliath 6.3" display will be "coming soon" to Rogers, Koodo, and TELUS. Rogers took to Twitter to announce that “The Galaxy Mega from @samsungmobileca with a 6’3-inch display and super-fast LTE speeds will be coming soon to Rogers!”. Koodo also unveiled the device through social media. They posted on Facebook announcing the device. TELUS took a more subtle route by posting the device on their website, marking it as 'coming soon'.

TELUS is using the slogan "Carry it like a phone, use it like a tablet." but it really should be the other way around. The Mega is the continuation of the trend of larger and larger phones, or phablets, as some people like to call them. TELUS will also be releasing another phablet, LG's G2, soon.

The Mega should be hitting the displays in early September.
